Next to Christmas, I just love celebrating Easter! Especially now, with 3 and a 1/2 bright-eyed, bushy-tailed grand babies hoppin' around. πŸ‡πŸ‡πŸ‡πŸ° Yup, Easter has brought us such a great surprise gift! Claire is expecting again ❀️ and I'm SO excited for them!!! πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘¦β€πŸ‘¦+πŸ‘ΆπŸ»

For the little ones, Easter may mean egg hunts and baskets filled with sugar-coated mini eggs, but we should also remind them that the egg is a symbol of NEW LIFE, REBIRTH and HOPE. I used to teach my kids that the hard shell of the egg πŸ₯š is likened to the sealed tomb of Christ, and cracking the shell open 🐣 represents Jesus' resurrection from the dead.

β€œWhy seek ye the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen.” (Luke 24:3–6.)

I am so blessed with a divine testimony that Jesus Christ lived, died and was resurrected. But perhaps, the best reason to commemorate this holiday is knowing that our Savior LIVES today just as it was initially discovered in His empty tomb, the very first Easter morning. That historic moment served as the greatest evidence of a resurrected Christ.

Because He has risen, our loved ones, friends and all others who have gone before us, including every human being who will ever be born after us will ALL be resurrected someday and have the opportunities to be united with their families and LIVE with our Heavenly Father again.

Regardless of our denominational differences and political/cultural divides, let us enjoy a tremendous unity on this glorious Easter morning... πŸ€— and give thanks to our kind and loving Savior who broke the bands of death so that we may enjoy the greatest and priceless GIFT given to mankind... ETERNAL LIFE. πŸ’πŸ™

Have a #Happy #Sunday and a peaceful #Easter! πŸ™πŸ’‹
